| This is such an indespensible piece of equipment! It serves the purpose of my digital I/O as well as a worksurface for Protools 6. 8 motorized faders, 24 bit / 96 KHZ recording, 18 simultaneous inputs and outputs, 4 built in mic pre's, ADAT Lightpipe I/O, MIDI I/O, connected through a single firewire cable to my computer, AMAZING. And after all of that the thing is tiny! It makes it a breeze to take to a remote recording location and setup quickly. |
Argueably the fastest personal computer made! Dual 2 GHZ Powermac G5 Processors, DVD/CD burner, 1GIG PC3200 RAM, firewire, USB 2.0 / 1.0, Digital audio I/O, and on top of that, SUPER QUIET! This machine has made my life about 10 times easier in working with protools. I can run an amazing number of plugins simultaneously and still have CPU to spare. |
Pro Tools LE software supports up to 32 tracks and 128 virtual tracks of professional-quality 24-bit/96 kHz audio Whatever the scope or demands of your project, Pro Tools LE software handles it all. Each update keeps getting better and better! Every time I open up a session I remember the days of taking a half-an-hour to recall a mix on an analog comsole. I t takes less than a second to recall all of my levels AND effects! Now what will I do with all of that free time? |
Here's Just a few of the Plugins that I have at my disposal:
Amplitube: Guitar/Bass Amp/Effects Simulator
Pluggo 3.1:An Astounding set of over 75 Plugins! Anything from Synths to Delays and Vocoders.
Waves Renaissance Bundle: Probably the most-used plugins in my arsenal. Staple effects such as Compressors, EQ's, and Reverbs
T-Racks: Tube emulation, EQ, Compression and Limiting
PSP Vintage Warmer: Mastering plugin that goes on almost every mix.

Great microphone package for anything from Drums to vocals to acoustic instruments. 2 Small Diaphragm Condensers, 3 Dynamic mics similar to the SM-57 with a smaller body style, 1 Large Diaphragm dynamic for kick drum / bass. |
Great vocal mic. It tends to be a little on the brighter side so it really brings those vocals forward in the mix. Also freat on acoustic guitar and electric guitar and bass. |
You know the old cliche... This mic does it all! Guitars, snare, vocals, ambient, you name it, it's been used for it sucessfully! |
ADA 8000
One of the newer additions. 8 Mic / Inst. inputs all routed to a single ADAT optical output to go into the DIGI 002. one single fiber-optic cable handles all 8 channels. Once again, a breeze to set up and pack away. Also serves as an 8-ch output for mixing in surround / on a large-format console.
Quad 4
4 independant inputs and outputs. Tons of effects including dynamics, EQ, and Time-Based
TubePre
One of the newer additions to my setup. Gives a very nice clean sound and adds a bit of warmth and air to vocals and guitars.

This is on here more as a tribute than anything. My trusty SR-16 finally crapped-out recently. It still functions as a controller, just no sound output anymore. :( |

Great simple MIDI controller. |
